Narrative Description of Project: Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) will set up 50 industrial parks on 20,000 acres of land in the next 10 years in important areas across the country to create new jobs and tap the potential of technology transfer by attracting foreign investment. Right now, a total of 946 export-oriented industrial units are currently operating in 82 industrial estate all over the country. Establishment of industrial estates/parks must be based on the size of local market, better communications, availability of raw materials, availability of cheap labour etc. To establish proposed productive, efficient & effective industrial park, detailed feasibility study is mandatory. A productive feasibility study is an important key for sustainable development.
