The major objective of this project was to provide consultancy services for preparation of Structure Plan, Master Plan and Detailed Area Plan for the Extension of the Khulna Master Plan Area up to MonglaTown. The project was aimed at developing strategies indicating future spatial development over the next 20 years supported by statutory master plans and detail level plans in order to determine the functional structure of the city and to enhance capacity of the KDA management for guiding the development through smart control mechanisms. Identification of Multi-Sectoral Investment Projects (MSIP) including project priorities through analyzing immediate needs of the town area and the people as well.
