Verification Survey on Chars livelihood Programme (CLP), Phase-I

The Char Livelihood Programme (CLP) is funded by DFID and sponsored by the Govt. of Bangladesh, located at Jamuna Chars area. CLP is presently working in 149 unions parishad spread over 28 upazilas of 5 districts which contain are infrastructure, governance and disaster preparedness, livelihoods and enterprise development, voice and choice and innovation, monitoring and learning. NGOs and union council physically carry out these activities. The verification contractor verified the activities and prepared a report on the basis of findings and submitted the same to CLP.
