National Minor Irrigation Development Project entailed by GOB, WB, EEC to formulate plans, policy and to set up appropriate guidelines to play a pivotal role in the privatization of minor irrigation system. The specific project KAP survey on NMIDP’s irrigation equipment emphasized to evaluate the benefits of the project’s major goal both at the farmers level as well as equipment retailers. Precisely the project entails the benefit monitoring evaluation of the NMIDP’s activities performed so far. This project was PBME type and to meet the project scope of work detail survey was conducted, data were analyzed to establish a baseline data which in turn directed to conduct KAP survey.
