The long-term aim of the project is to contribute to the economic and social development of Char Area in South Eastern Bangladesh. Settlement of the landless people on newly accredit land is the principal motive as well as extending support to the settled household, with infrastructure facilities viz; roads, bridges, culverts, markets, agricultural extension etc.Settlement of as many as 5,000 landless households in three new polders in the district of Noakhali to provide support for economic activities and to assist in increasing the availability of and access to social services.
