The Feasibility Study for the Construction of Jetties on CycloneProneIslands was funded by AIDAB through its small Activities Scheme (SAS) in order to carry out preliminary studies to assess the potential viability of constructing Jetties. The study has investigated the significant offshore islands in the Bay of Bengal including Sandwip, Hatiya, Manpura, Matarbari and Kutubdia which don’t have any Jetty Facilities at present.
