Tangail Town Integrated Water Management and Development Study is a component study of (Compartmentalization Pilot Project) of FAP-20. The objective of the study in to formulate a comprehensive urban development plan that provides for the identification and solution of water related problems and formulate a development plan. The plan encompasses study on existing conditions and land use and housing, road, drainage, water supply, sanitation and solid waste disposal, flood protection, water congestion, pollution, environment of Tangail Town. The study then recommends up gradation of the conditions particularly related to urban development and identification of strategic projects and programmes for the project town.
